Thanks folks, for your support
Well, I got the Hope Coalition story and video posted today.
Should have gotten more done, but I got hit with a case of the terminal lazies. Plus I also wasn’t feeling well for most of the afternoon. But it wasn’t incapacitating, so I can’t use that as an excuse.
Still, this is better than many of my previous life’s efforts. At least I got something on. There were times when even this would have fallen by the wayside – leaving another empty project that was full of promises, but contained very little substance.
A couple of reasons that are keeping me going, abet slower than what I would like. The first are these blog posts. I just can’t stand the thought of saying here “Well, I didn’t do anything today, because I just didn’t feel like it” over and over again. I’ve got to say I did something even if it isn’t as much as I should be doing.
The second is I’ve noticed a few people keep coming to the website on a regular basis. For those of you who are doing so – and if you’re reading this – thanks. I really appreciate it. You don’t know how happy it makes me when I check the stats and see that you’ve been there. It really gives me encouragement.
But I know that you won’t come unless I provide something on a daily basis. I know I wouldn’t check out a website daily unless I knew something different had been posted. So, to encourage you all to come, I’m going to continue to try to put something new up each day. It might not be your cup of tea, but it will be there for you to check out.
Now once again, we have that champ of champs, what keeps you all coming back – today’s bad joke!
A man spotted a friend sitting a bar, drinking and looking very forlorn.
“What’s wrong, Jim. You really look down in the dumps?”
“It’s my wife,” Jim replied.
“What’s wrong, is she sick?”
“Naw. She’s real mad at me.”
“She told me not to get her anything for her birthday,” Jim said.
“So why is she mad?”
“I didn’t,” Jim said.
