Getting back on track
Sorry about that folks. Sometimes I just get so remiss about these things. It’s been a problem all my life. Being consistent with these things. If I could only get some words of encouragement. Or even criticism! Just to let me know that somebody out there is reading this stuff.
Oh well. I’m back, and I’ll try to keep things on an even keel.
Let’s see. I got a bit of criticism (Ha!) on Youtube on the video about the fatal crash. The person said “Pretty damn sleazy rolling credits. No, very sleazy!”
To which I replied “Well, that’s your opinion, and you’re entitled to it.”
Well, you got me as to what was bothering him. Or her. I hate these posters who use pseudonyms. You can always tell who I am, and how to contact me. But these people hide their identifies, because they don’t have the courage to stand up themselves and be counted.
Well, other than that, I haven’t heard any negative comments about the video. Which pleases me, because I meant it only to be news item – and reported it as tastefully as possbile.
I won’t get into other details about what happened at the scene. I think I will save that for another day.
Covered the commissioners today. Not very exciting, but interesting.
Sigh! I wish it was more exciting, because it would probably generate more hits.
I produced videos of all the candidates who are running for county commissioner. On both sides of the coin. Figured that would generate a lot of interest. It did not. Very disappointed under such circumstances. But that’s politics for you.
I’ve been receiving some feedback concerning what I’ve been doing with the videos and the website. It’s been generally positive, but I still need more to make this a success. And that’s going to take more effort on my part. Trouble is, the last several days have been hard. Been wallowing in depression and feeling very lackadaisical as a result. Have to got to break myself out of this, if I want to succeed.
All right, I think I’ve covered enough for now. But I’ll be back tomorrow. Until then, here’s today’s bad joke!
Bob was in trouble. He forgot his wedding anniversary. His wife was really angry. She told him “Tomorrow morning, I expect to find a gift in the driveway that goes from 0 to 200 in 6 seconds AND IT BETTER BE THERE!” The next morning he got up early and left for work. When his wife woke up, she looked out the window and sure enough there was a box gift-wrapped in the middle of the driveway. Confused, the wife put on her robe and ran out to the driveway, brought the box back in the house. She opened it and found a brand new bathroom scale. Bob has been missing since Friday.
