New video on the website
Well, I did, but I don’t believe it.
There are two new posts to the web. I did not put on any of police stuff. I discovered that my laptop was too low on power, and had to recharge it. By the time it was done, it was too late.
So, I tried something different. I took a video of the intersection in Tunkhannock, using a feature on the camera that allowed me to speed it up. Putting it to appropriate music, I have a nice little entertainment piece.
I also finished “Alien World,” a new piece of fiction, and I posted it.
I was constantly fighting the urge to say “The heck with it,” again. But I just could face posting that I had failed again. This is even better than having someone breathing down your neck.
All right, tomorrow will be a busy day. I have commissioners, and then that lecture before a group interested in expressing themselves. Hopefully it will lead to some people making submissions.
Okay, without further fanfare, here’s today’s bad joke.
An old farmer went into town for the first time in many years, and was a bit unnerved by all the modern things he saw.
Entering a department store, the farmer stopped in front of an elevator. An elderly lady stepped into it. The door shut, there was a flash of light, and when the door opened, an attractive young woman stepped out and walked away.
The farmer stared at the elevator for a few moments, then shook his head sadly and said.
“If only I’d brought my wife Emily.”
